EE515: Security of Emerging Systems

Reading Report

• Due: 1:00 PM on the day before the lecture (any late submission will score zero point.)
• Format: a single word page amount of pure text (in .txt format)
  
• Content: for each paper, reading report should be submitted twice (summary and discussion)
  total 11 reading reports will be scored in the whole lecture
  each reading reports is consisted of two sections (summary and discussion)
  summary part should be organized as follows:
  • Title of the paper for the next lecture
  • Your name, student ID
  • Summary: summary should include
  • Target system & service - 5 points
  • Vulnerability - 10 points
  • Exploitation (attacks) - 10 points
  • Evaluation and experimental method - 10 points
  • Defense (potential solutions for the attacks) - 5 points
  • Question to the presenter - 10 points
  
  Discussion part should answer to presenter's questions with your own thinking.
  You should include the discussed answer of presenter and professor in the lecture and your own thinking.
  
  • Title of the paper from the previous lecture

  • Discussion for question 2 - 10 points
  • Discussion for question 3 - 10 points
  • Any supplemental discussion topics (future works, criticism, follow-up studies, ...) - 20 points
